Doua Yang-Hernandez

I’m originally from Saint Paul, MN, but now I live in Blaine with my husband and two dogs. I’m a first-generation college graduate from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where I studied Family Social Science and Social Justice. My passion for education led me to work in educational non-profits for almost a decade, where I’ve helped over 1000 students in the Twin Cities area. I also have experience in local politics and leadership, as I served as a Field Director and Campaign Manager for Mitra Jalali’s successful campaigns for Saint Paul City Council. After earning my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, I decided to commit to politics full-time and became a legislative aide for Councilmember Jalali. I’m excited to be a coach and share my expertise in community engagement, advocacy, social justice, educational non-profits, higher education, and leadership to help you develop self-awareness, management skills, and authentic leadership in your community.
