Last week, VoteRunLead battled the #Snowpocalypse of New England with a trip to Boston. I was invited to speak at the 9th Annual Harvard Women’s Law Association conference by a Go Run Alumnae, Alicia Solow-Nederberg, who attended Go Run as a 16 year old in 2006! Now a 1L (slang for first-year law student), I was honored that she asked me to serve alongside Rhoda Weeks-Brown, Deputy Director of Communications at the IMF, Ashely x, Partner at Kirkland & Associations, and Andrea Cabral, former MA Secretary of Public Safety and 1st female Sheriff of Suffolk County.

The evening before #VRL Nation Meet Up brought a few brave souls tackling the 10 foot snow piles, including Denise Era Schultz, who has put her hat in the ring for chair of the Metrowest Commission on the Status of Women and Girls. Later, I stopped by our partners at Political Parity to talk about Latinas Represent, where we mapped out the next phase of the Latinas in Leadership Online Series, coming back soon!

We’ve just landed in Denver for another #VRLnation Meet Up on Tuesday and to record interviews with alumns who are now sitting in the Colorado legislature. We are also keeping our curriculum fresh with our newest team member, Faith Winter, who joins VRL as Training Coach!

See you soon,
