Amanda O’Donnell is a finance and operations professional experienced in planning, analysis, and management of innovative and high-growth organizations. She is passionate about empowering women and girls in leadership, bridging digital divides, and increasing diversity in STEM and Government. Amanda is thrilled to have joined VoteRunLead in 2017 as the organization’s first Chief Operations Officer. Prior to VoteRunLead, Amanda was SVP of Finance at Intersection, a Sidewalk Labs company that combines expertise in technology, user experience and interactive engagement to improve life in cities around the world. Intersection is the result of a merger between Control Group and Titan, key members of the team behind LinkNYC, the groundbreaking project to turn payphones into urban information hubs. As Partner and the Chief Financial Officer at Control Group, Amanda played an integral role in managing the company’s operations since its founding. In her work at Control Group, Amanda developed financial and operational strategies that enabled the company’s transformation from startup to industry leader and she led the company’s Women in Technology initiative and established Control Group as a founding partner of Women in Tech NYC. Amanda graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Environmental Science and recently earned her MPA from the NYU-Wagner Executive Masters program.
