M. Kathleen Murphy is a communications consultant from Saint Paul, MN. She has over 20 years of communications experience ranging from public policy advocacy on a variety of women’s issues, to marketing, development, visual communications and media relations. With a successful consulting practice for over 15 years, she works closely with nonprofits, government entities, political candidates, labor unions and small businesses. During that time, she has also served as the communications director for the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault, creative director and marketing specialist for Children’s Home Society, and Director of Public Policy Advocacy at Midwest Health Center for Women, where she lobbied for reproductive rights and women’s health for over 9 years. She is a graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art & Design with extensive coursework in economics, political science and women’s studies at the University of Minnesota.
