Rebekah Fitzgerald is the founder of Simplified Campaigns, an online community committed to simplifying the world of political campaigns. A believer in the idea that our towns, cities, counties, districts, states and the country are better when we have passionate people stepping up to share their expertise and offer their leadership. Rebekah is committed to the idea that running for a political office shouldn’t be complicated. Gearing up for her tenth year of political campaigns she’s served in a variety of campaign roles ranging from intern and volunteer, to treasurer, fundraiser, to chief strategist and manager, to candidate spouse. She also has worked at nearly every race level from local, county, legislative, congressional and gubernatorial campaigns. Her professional background also includes work as a policy staffer for Governor Matt Mead (WY) in natural resources, developing and leading national energy policy discussions for state-elected officials around the country as the national program manager for energy and environment with the Council of State Governments, and most recently building a team of communications experts to communicate at a state and national level about world-renown wildlife management with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. A bachelors degree in Political Science from Oklahoma Baptist University, Rebekah has been learning in the real-world classroom ever since. When she’s not working on advancing the next issue or political campaign, she enjoys the outdoors and woodworking with her husband and golden retriever, Bentley.
